Questions & Answers
Why should vibration be used before wash-down rather than during it?
Vibration is most effective at residual material removal before water is introduced. Once material gets wet it can become more adhesive and harder to remove, and it goes directly into the wastewater stream — increasing disposal costs and creating potential compliance issues. Using vibration first ensures more complete hopper emptying dry, making subsequent wash-down faster, more effective, and less wasteful.
