Best uses and case studies for MARTIN® Stick & Shake™ Adhesive Mounting System

  • MARTIN® Stick & Shake™ with NTP™ 18 Clears Bridging in Powder Hopper Without Welding
    Situation

A client’s operation involves discharging fine powders from hoppers, a process often disrupted by material bridging. However, modifying the hopper structure with welding or drilling was not an option due to equipment warranties and sanitary requirements.

    Problem

Bridging at the hopper outlet caused repeated flow stoppages, requiring manual clearing with mallets or rods. This not only introduced safety risks for their operators but also slowed production and increased wear on the equipment.

    Solution

The client applied the MARTIN® Stick & Shake™ Adhesive Mounting System to securely mount a vibrator without any permanent modifications required. Once the adhesive mounting plate was cured in place, they installed the MARTIN® NTP™ 18 Continuously Impacting Linear Vibrator. This model delivers powerful, repeated linear impacts — ideal for breaking up stubborn powder bridges in flow-resistant materials.
