This rugged air-powered unit opens railcar hopper gates, without gang tactics, without stoop labor or crawling under the car, without damage to gate or mechanism, and without excessive noise.
 The Railcar Opening System uses compressed air to apply powerful, steady force to open the toughest gates. The MARTIN® Railcar Opener is wheel-mounted and delivers a whopping 2,700 lbs. of door opening power.
